The Greater-Accra Regional chapter of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), on Thursday pledged to rally around Dr. Kwesi Ndoum, the flagbearer of the party to ensure victory for the part in the 2008 elections.
In a congratulatory message to the newly elected flagbearer, Mrs. Susan Adu-Amankwah, Chairman of the Greater-Accra branch of the CPP said; "I wish to convey our most cordial sentiments and congratulations to you for coming out victorious at the just ended historic CPP congress in Kumasi."
She said the regional chapter of the party would rally around Dr. Ndoum's victory to make the party and country great once again, adding that it was the CPP's moral obligation to execute the unfinished business of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
"As a son of the great CPP, we are certain that you, together with all of us and the rapidly growing membership will work extra hard, not only to re-establish the unique values of the CPP but will also go on to continue the business of the greatest African that ever lived."
