Actress, Moesha Boduong has debunked rumours that it was a man who secured her attendance to this year's Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
Moesha Boduong surprised a lot of people when she posted pictures and videos of her attending the event on social media and sparked speculation about how she got there.
“It is interesting that anyone would think that. I did not go on any man’s ticket, I was invited and I went. I think it’s high time people started saying other things than this," she told Showbiz.
The actress explained that she may not be out there with her business but “some of us are working, really working behind the scenes.”
Moesha's outfit for the BET Awards had a touch of Kente, which excited some of her fans.
She said that going on BET platform for the first time, she wanted to do something that represented her home.
“I needed that touch of Ghana because these chances do not come every day so when you get it, you make good use of it,” she stated.
Describing her experience, Moesha said it was exciting. “It was a great time, one that I will not forget in a hurry. I actually had the chance to meet all the American stars I admire and love,” she revealed.
She also disclosed that she took the opportunity to explore after attending the show.
“I took advantage and toured the place, there were lots of exciting places and I wanted to get a feel of them and I must say, it was beautiful," she said.
