As part of the church’s mandate to go out and preach the gospel to the world, the Liberty Church organised a weeklong camp for youths across the country.
The camp which is known as Spiritual Cadet Training (SCT), is hosted every year at the Liberty Church Complex at Gbawe, Accra.
The 2019 camp was themed "Empowered for Exploits".
According to the General Overseer, Rev. Anim Nketia, the weeklong programme has equipped the youth to take charge and influence society for Christ.
“It has made each individual unique and supercharged for exploits now and in future,” he said.
He further charged all the youth to take up the Heavenly mandate after being empowered to do exploits during and after the camp.
With reference from the Bible, he noted that it is the task of each youth to exhibit Matthew 10: 7-8 “And as you go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils...”
Speaking to Myjoyonline.com, the camp leader, Kwame Sarfo Boadu mentioned that the entire week has been spirit-filled and the youth have been trained in all spheres of life.
The training capitalised on drawing the youth to Christ, encouraging soul winning for the kingdom, educational seminars and networking.
He entreated parents to allow their children and youth to participate in Christian activities so as to build confidence, network and increase their capacity to accomplish many things.
He also entreated everyone present to go forth and do exploits just as they have been empowered.
Spiritual Cadet Training is a holistic camp that brings youth from all walks of life for a whole week.
The camp cuts across from educational seminars, health talks, counselling and the Bible.
Spiritual Cadet Training has been running for the past 4 years every August at the Liberty Church Complex, Gbawe-Accra. It is a free camp which absolutely caters for food and accommodation.
