The Black Stars of Ghana thumped the Pharoahs of Egypt 6-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a World Cup qualifying playoffs.
The result is the heaviest defeat suffered by the Egyptians in any qualifier.
Even the Black Stars players who were the architects of the humiliating defeat of the Pharoahs were themselves shocked.

The Kumasi stadium was nearly thrown into darkness after a smoky celebration by the Egyptians who had just equalised from a penalty to bring the scores at the time to 2-1.
