A 21-year old baker, Kofi Agoe, who allegedly entered the kitchen of a neighbour and stole spraying machine spare parts worth 30 million cedis, has been remanded by a circuit court at Asamankese.
Agoe who pleaded not guilty will re-appear on January 7, 2008.
Police Inspector Kate Ogyiri told the court that the complainant, Isaac Donkor, a farmer and the accused lived in the same neighbourhood at Asamankese.
About seven years ago, the complainant kept spare parts of spraying machines in his mother's kitchen.
On December 7, this year, Donkor's mother Adwoa Owusua detected the theft of the spare parts and immediately suspected Agoe who a day earlier had asked about the ownership of the spare parts.
She therefore informed her son about the theft who in turn lodged a complaint with the police.
Agoe was arrested and when a search was conducted in his room the missing spare parts were found.
