Head of Ghana Association of Songwriters, Emmanuel Barnes, popularly known as Mr Logic, says the public should not compare highlife artiste Bisa Kdei to his colleagues KiDi and Kuami Eugene.
According to the entertainment critic, although the two Lynx Entertainment signees exceed Bisa in terms of looks and voice, content-wise and composition, Bisa Kdei is unbeatable.
“Play Bisa Kdei’s songs, and you will barely find a mechanical breach. When it comes to content, he does not repeat lyrics, this is a guy who approaches a song with a master touch,” he told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
Unlike KiDi and Kuami Eugene, Bisa Kdei churns out songs that the society can relate to, Mr logic added.

He said, he does not disregard the talent of KiDi and Kuami Eugene but believes the constant obsession of the public and some industry players to compare the two with Bisa Kdei is having an adverse effect on the latter’s career.
Mr Logic added, little negativity attached to an artiste’s career affects the positive works.
“That is why now he has to struggle to compete with KiDi and Kuami Eugene,” he noted.
“The same thing happened to KK Fosu. He was one of the biggest highlife artistes then Bisa came. People started comparing KK Fosu to Bisa disregarding his (KK Fosu) works in and outside the country,” he added.
He urged members of the showbiz fraternity and the public to give Bisa Kdei the respect he deserves and also throw their support behind him.
