The Ghana National Gas Company says it believes in the commitment of the government and the state security agencies, in ensuring the three kidnapped Takoradi girls are reunited with their families.
Head of Corporate Communications at Ghana Gas, Ernest Owusu Bempah, made the comment when he, together with other officials from the company, visited the families of the girls at Diabene and Kansawrodo in the Essikado Constituency of the Western Region.
The three girls, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Ruthlove Quayeson and Priscilla Mantsebeah Koranchie, were kidnapped between August and December 2018.
"I want you to know that as a company, one of our objectives is to build a good relationship with residents in and around our area of operations and we are worried about these kidnappings," Mr Owusu Bempah explained the reason for the visit.
He added that, President Akufo-Addo is committed to resourcing the security agencies to make sure the girls are found as a matter of urgency.
"...our CEO and all well-meaning Ghanaians are worried about the situation and it is our utmost prayer that the next time we will come here, will be the day when the girls have returned,” he added.
The Senior Manager in charge of Community Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility, Francis Ewoniah, on behalf of the Company presented an undisclosed amount of money to the families at their separate homes.
