April 23 2019, marked the 100th birthday of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu.
He was born at Fadama in Accra in 1919. After government in 1993 created the Office of the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman was appointed to serve in that office.
A responsibility he holds to date. He is respected for fostering inter-faith dialogue and religious co-existence in Ghana.
