Travelers and drivers plying the Nkoranza/Kintampo highway trunk road have expressed concern about the deplorable condition of a wooden bridge over River Tanfi at Tanfiano on the highway.
They have appealed to Mr. Awudulai Razak, Kintampo North, Mr. Yaw Adjei-Duffour, Kintampo South and Mr. James Kwabena Appiah-Awuah, Nkoranza District Chief executives to pool resources to repair the bridge that had become a death trap to travelers.
Mr. Adjei-Duffour appealed to assembly members of the area to organize their people to undertake communal labour to maintain some portions of the road.
He told the Ghana News Agency at Jema that the assembly would also provide tractors to convey gravels as a support for the people.
