Elder Francis Agyei has released the video of the latest hit song “Ilona” a few days away from the launch of his “New Covenant” album.
The video, directed by Skyweb Videos, is arguably Francis Agyei’s first music video shot on location as an artiste since the beginning of his career.
Francis Agyei recently signed a five-year deal with Media Excel Productions, owned and managed by artiste manager, Ernest Kwesi Ennin, which has seen his career bounced back after he took a break for almost a decade.
He recently said in an interview that he is overwhelmed “at the rate of acceptance of my coming back” and “pledged to give nothing but the best.”
“I can’t wait to see the power of God manifest itself on that day,” the Praise and Worship leader told Myjoyonline.
The New Covenant album has 13 songs with several collaborations from some of Ghana’s Gospel greats including Joe Mettle, Akesse Brempong, Uncle Ato, Nacee and many others.
Some of the songs include the explosive ‘”lona (My Praise),” “Apam Foforo” a praise medley, “He’s Alive” featuring Joe Mettle, “Yehowa” featuring Nacee, “Owomafa” and many more.
The album launch is scheduled to take place at 2pm at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) in Kokomemle in Accra.
Some prominent Gospel musicians including Elder Mireku, SP Kofi Sarpong, Diana Hamilton among others, will also be in attendance.
