Nine persons have been injured in a violent clash between the supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The clash occurred in Mamobi, a suburb of Accra on Sunday, October 13.
This is contained in a press release issued by the police.
It added that “seven of the injured persons have been treated and discharged, while two others are still receiving care at the hospital.”
The Service assured the public that it has restored calm at Mamobi while an intelligence-led operation is currently ongoing to get the perpetrators who have been identified by the police arrested to face justice.
