The 2024 edition of the 3Music Awards marked a spectacular comeback for one of Ghana’s most beloved music award shows.
Held at the Palm Convention Centre inside the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on Saturday, the event was a night to remember, celebrating the best of Ghanaian music and the resilience of the industry.
The theme for this year’s event, 'Connecting Through Music', was beautifully embodied throughout the night. The performances, speeches, and awards all highlighted the unifying power of music, bringing together artistes, fans, and industry stakeholders in a celebration of shared passion and creativity.
The night was filled with electrifying performances, heartfelt speeches, and well-deserved accolades. Stonebwoy, one of Ghana’s most influential artistes, took home the prestigious Artiste of the Year award, while Lyrical Joe and Black Sherif also shone brightly with their wins for Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video of the Year, respectively.
3MusicTV, the organizers of the event, worked assiduously themselves not to fall below the bar set by themselves and interestly that was achieved. Their dedication to promoting Ghanaian music and providing a platform for artists to be recognized and celebrated is commendable.
The seamless execution of the event, coupled with the high production value, reflects the hard work and passion of the 3MusicTV team.
After a one-year hiatus, the 3Music Awards returned with a bang, showcasing not only the immense talent within the Ghanaian music scene but also the unwavering support from corporate Ghana.
The event’s success was significantly bolstered by the backing of prominent brands such as Bang & Olufsen, Budweiser, Dussè, Brutal Fruit, Infinix, Audiomack, Bel-Aqua, Yango, Blue Jeans, AT Network, SS Music, Alkains Ent and many others.
They expressed appreciation to the media for supporting them by amplifying the event on their platforms, adding that their involvement highlights the importance of collaboration between the entertainment industry and corporate entities in fostering growth and innovation.
According to the organisers, this overwhelming corporate support underscores the growing recognition of the 3Music Awards as a premier platform for celebrating musical excellence in Ghana.
As the curtains closed on the 2024 3Music Awards, it was clear that the event had not only made a triumphant return but also set a new standard for future editions. The night was a testament to the power of music, the strength of community, and the potential for greatness when passion meets support.
The event has once again proven that Ghanaian music is a force to be reckoned with, and with such strong backing, the future looks incredibly bright for the 3Music Awards and the artistes it celebrates.
