The government has announced that it has initiated and completed over 3,000 educational projects across the country since 2017.

These projects are part of a comprehensive effort to improve educational infrastructure and enhance access to quality education for all Ghanaians.

In a statement released by the GETFund, the projects were highlighted as evidence of the government's commitment to the educational sector.

The completed projects range from the construction of new classroom blocks and the renovation of existing facilities to the establishment of modern science laboratories, libraries, and ICT centres.

According to the document, these developments aim to create a conducive learning environment for students and provide teachers with the necessary resources to facilitate effective teaching.

The Ministry further stated that the projects cover all levels of education, from basic to senior high schools and technical institutions.

The government's focus on STEM education has also led to the construction of specialised facilities dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, aimed at preparing students for future careers in these fields.

Parents, teachers, and local communities have expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting that the improved facilities have already had a positive impact on students' academic performance and overall school experience.

The government has pledged to continue investing in the educational sector, with plans to launch additional projects to meet the growing demands of the nation's educational system.
