Thirty-seven babies made up of 22 females and 15 males were delivered at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi on New Year's Day.
All the babies and their mothers are doing well.
Mrs Mercy Ofori, Nursing Manager of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Directorate of the Hospital disclosed this to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi on Wednesday.
The Nursing Manager said out of the total number 25 were born through Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD) the normal way of delivery, while 12 came through Caesarean Section.
She advised expectant and nursing mothers to attend hospital regularly to ensure that both mothers and their unborn babies were in good health.
Six babies comprising four females and two males were also delivered at the Tafo Hospital.
Miss Comfort Ofosuaa, Principal Nursing Officer at the Maternity Unit of the Hospital said three of them made up of two females and one male and their mothers had already been discharged.
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Hospital recorded only two births all females on New Year's Day.
Mrs Georgina Karikari, Senior Midwife at the Maternity Ward of the Hospital told the GNA that the babies were in stable conditions as well as their mothers.
