The Energy Commission will this week distribute 2.4 million pieces of Compact Fluorescent Lamps to district assemblies and regional administrations.
The lamps are to help conserve energy and it is one of the measures the Commission is taking to help address the current energy crisis.
The Commission distributed the first set of lamps to ministries, departments and agencies, and undertook a pilot distribution exercise in Suhum last month.
The Executive Secretary of the commission; Alfred Ofosu Ahenkorah says more lamps are expected by the end of the month.
