Red-hot Baba Rahman has been left out of the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros.
The PAOK left back was also left out of the squad that lost to the United States and Mexico in the October friendly matches.
This season, Baba Rahman has been a regular fixture in the PAOK team both in Europe and in the Greek league.
He has featured in 11 games across all competitions, providing 2 assists and consistently putting up tremendous performances.
Head coach Chris Hughton announced the squad on Thursday afternoon amid the uncertainty over his future.
The four-time African champions will host Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, November 17, 2023, in the first two Group I games of the Mexico, Canada, and ISA tournament to be hosted in 2026.
Four days later, Ghana will play as guests to Comoros in the second group match as they hope to get some good results after the disappointing defeats last month.
