Asante Kotoko extended their unbeaten streak in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over defending champions FC Samartex at the Len Clay Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors, who switched to a 3-5-2 formation, found the decisive goal after the 30th minute mark to claim all three points.
Striker Albert Amoah connected well from netted from Patrick Asiedu's cross to score from close range.
FC Samartex struggled to create clear chances and ultimately could not find a way past Kotoko's defense.
With this win, Kotoko remain unbeaten and now sit on 14 points in second while FC Samartex who now sit fifth and stuck on 10 points, continue their search for consistency.
