Basake Holy Stars will host Dreams FC in their matchday 2 fixture of the Ghana Premier League at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Anyinase on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
Holy Stars made a strong debut in the top-flight league, stunning 21-time champions Hearts of Oak with a 1-0 victory at the Accra Sports Stadium last Sunday.
A second-minute header from Prince Tweneboah secured a crucial win for the league newcomers, sending a strong message to their rivals.
This encounter will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides, as Holy Stars are competing in the Premier League for the first time.
Dreams FC, on the other hand, are still seeking their first win of the season. They played to a goalless draw against defending champions Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium last Saturday.
Following a disappointing league campaign last season, the Still Believe lads will be eager to secure their first victory of the 2024/25 campaign on Sunday.
With both teams determined to build momentum, this promises to be an exciting contest.
