Tamale City were also 2-1 winners over Nsoatreman with Matthew Agama scoring a late winner at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
Bechem United moved to second on the league table following their 1-0 win over Dreams FC with Emmanuel Annor scoring the only goal.
On Thursday, March 30, Legon Cities will host Asante Kotoko at El Wak Sports Stadium while Real Tamale United and Accra Great Olympics also fight for all maximum points.
