Ghana have made it to the group stages of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers after beating Comoros 2-0 in Kumasi.

70 A great cross on the left from Baba Rahman for Dede Ayew who soars up heads the ball so well but a great save from the Comoros goal keeper means the scores will remain the same.
65 A red card to the visitors after a little clip on the foot of Asamoah Gyan in the final third. It is the second yellow card and the man in defence for the visitors takes a quick shower.

53 Gyan gets the glorious opportunity to increase the tally for the Black Stars but with just the goal keeper to beat, Gyan places the ball inches wide.
49 The tempo of the game has increased and its the Comoros side on the attack. A great run on the right, a cross comes in but the Comoros striker fails to connect.
46 The Stars get a good opportunity to increase the tally after Jeffery Schlupp makes a rampaging run on the left. He whips a low cross in but Stars captain hesitates and the clearance comes in from the Comoros side.

9 Great shot from 20 yards from a Comoros striker which forces a superb save by Razak Braimah. It is the closest the minnows have come to scoring. A great effort there.
2 From six yards Agyemang Badu shoots wide after a great run from the right side of attack.
The Black Stars of Ghana play lowly Comoros in a crucial world cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. The first ended goalless and the Stars need a crucial victory to ensure qualification to the next round of qualifiers.
