The Volta Regional Youth Organiser of the Convention People's Party (CPP), Mr Paul Nuwornu, has expressed his optimism that the CPP has the brightest chance to win political power in the 2008 general elections.
He made this statement in his speech during the swearing in of the Nkwanta Nkwanta North Constituency Executives of the CPP at Kpasa.
Mr Nuwornu said in the political history of Ghana, the CPP is the only party that has made remarkable achievements compared to that of the NPP and the NDC.
He said the electorates after critically analysing all the political parties in Ghana, has decided to vote the CPP to power due to its past achievements.
Mr. Nuwornu said the CPP is the only Party that bears the ordinary Ghanaian and the development agenda at heart and urged the executive members to work hard towards victory in the 2008 election, since it would not be an easy task.
Mr Abdul Aziz Tairo, the newly elected chairman for the constituency stressed the need for unity in the party and asked members to shun petty squabbles that would drive away floating voters.
