For the first time in many years about 20 FA Presidents from all over the continent will converge in Accra for tomorrow’s inauguration of the FIFA goal project at Prampram.
The goal project is a worldwide development programme initiated by FIFA and provides specific needs of national associations in the area of tailor-made development and assistance programmes.
But this rather high number of FA heads in Ghana has added benefits which are outlined by Ghana FA President Kwasi Nyantakyi.
He said the FA presidents will use the meeting to fraternize and share ideas on how to push African football forward.
But there is even a more important and personal interest for him – his CAF executive member ambitions.
Mr Nyantakyi said he will be lobbying his colleagues for their support during the elections.
