The Ghana Swimming Association together with the National Sports Authority have inaugurated an 11-member Committee for the 14th African Championship set to hosted in Ghana.
Ghana won the bid to host the prestigious event following the successful hosting of the CANA Zone II championship in March last year at the Trust Sports Emporium International Pool in Bukom, Accra.
The newly formed Local Organizing Committee (LOC) consist of the treasurer of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Frederick Acheampong, Tamimu Issah, formerly of the Ghana Football Association and currently at the office of the Vice President of the republic of Ghana among others.
