Ten more people in the country have died from the novel coronavirus, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has reported.
Also, 616 persons have been infected with the virus bringing the country’s total confirmed cases to 62,751.
The Ghana Health Service indicated that the new deaths brings the death toll to 377 and active cases is now 3,813.
However, a total of 58,561 recoveries/discharges have been recorded.
Following the upsurge in cases, the President has instructed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to direct officers, men and women of the Ghana Police Service to ensure the enforcement of the law on mask-wearing at all public places and in public transport.
