Asempa News has learnt that, Executive of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) met to discuss the press conference held by their party founder J. J. Rawlings.

According to a source close to the NDC, the party is disappointed at certain comments made by Flt. Lt. Rawlings at Tuesday's news conference at his residence.

The source said the leadership of the party are unhappy at the negative impact such comments have on the party.

The former President accused his party hierarchy of not listening to his advice.

The source further said the NDC leadership complained that while they were doing their best to build the party and concentrate on having a good relationship with the electorate, the founder of the party on the other hand was making their work difficult.

The source told Asempa FM that due to that fix the founder has created for the party, they are not going to comment on the issues raised by the former head of state.
