A 60-year-old man arrested by police for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl is pleading innocence because he did not “come” during the act.
The suspect, Frank Bonney Kennedy Gyamfi told ADOM NEWS that he had barely begun the act when the police stormed the classroom where the “action” was taking place to stop him.
Gyasi later changed his story and told this reporter that the victim has long been his girlfriend but he does not have sex with her he only sends her on errands and gives her money.
He later stopped talking on the intervention of one of his friends who had come to the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit of the Tema Police to intervene in the matter.
The Police DOVVSU office say they had a tip off from some neighbours in the Tema Community 8 Number 3 Junior High School that the suspect had lured the victim into one of the classrooms.
The police immediately closed in on the suspect and caught him in the act on top of the victim.
An immediate search on him revealed a used condom and four fresh ones. He told the police that he has a girlfriend which is why he carries the condoms on him.
The DOVVSU office is holding him in custody to be arraigned before court on Thursday.
